As leader of the Women’s Mental Health Clinical Team, she provided consultation to colleagues regarding perinatal mental health and contributed to local and national initiatives to improve quality and access to care for women veterans. During her time at the VA Medical Center, Dr. Jensen carried an appointment as Clinical Assistant Professor at the Perelman School of Medicine of the University of Pennsylvania, providing mentorship and instruction to psychiatry residents and medical students. She is an active member of the American Psychiatric Association (APA), the Pennsylvania Psychiatric Society, and the American Association of Sexuality Educators, Counselors, and Therapists (AASECT).
